Award-winning journalist and research consultant, Carole Kerbage is the MENA desk editor at ARIJ. Before joining ARIJ, she worked as a freelance journalist for several Arabic newspapers, including Al-Hayat, Annahar and Al-Akhbar, and as a reporter for Assafir Newspaper (2012-2014). She was a research consultant at the International Labour Organization – Regional Office for the Arab States (2009-2016) - and an academic researcher at Issam Fares Institute at the American University of Beirut (2015-2016). She was awarded the “Samir Kassir Award for Freedom of the Press” for Best investigative article in 2009. She holds two Master’s degrees. She holds a Master of Political Science from Saint Joseph University and Paris 1 University, Pantheon-Sorbonne and a Master’s degree in labour and social movements from SOAS, University of London.
كارول كرباج هي محررة البيانات في أريج في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. تحمل شهادتي ماجستير في العلوم السياسية من جامعتي القديس يوسف وباريس1-بانتيون سوربون، وماجستير في الحركات العمالية والاجتماعية من جامعة سواس-لندن. عملت كصحافية مستقلة لأكثر من خمس سنوات في صحف عربية عدة (الحياة، النهار والأخبار) وكمراسلة في جريدة السفير (2012-2014). كما عملت كمستشارة بحثية في المكتب الاقليمي للدول العربية لمنظمة العمل الدولية وكباحثة اكاديمية في معهد عصام فارس في الجامعة الأمريكية في بيروت. نالت كرباح جائزة سمير قصير لحرية الصحافة عن فئة "أفضل تحقيق صحفي" العام 2009.
